Goal Of The Project:
For students to write about their experiences with popular forms of technology such as mp3 players, iPods, Tablets, iPads, computers, video cameras, digital photos, Internet sites, Facebook, or any other form of technology they may use.

Type Of Writing Requested: Personal, factual stories

Description Of What We Are Looking For From Other Schools:
We would like your students to write a completed, final, and edited story about one of the following topics.

1. Write about current forms of technology that you use and describe how they have impacted your life. (These can include mp3 players, iPods, Tablets, iPads, computers, video cameras, digital photos, Internet sites, Facebook, or any other form of technology that you use).

2. Write a story about how technology is affecting the way you and your friends learn. Discuss how technology is affecting relationships between you and your friends. How has it affected the entertainment you enjoy?

3. Write about a form of technology that you do not have or do not have access to at the current time. Describe why you would like to own this form of technology and discuss how you believe it would change your life.

4. Review a technology product you have and describe to us the things you like about it and the things that you think need to be improved.

5. Discuss a new technology that you would like to see invented. How would it improve your life and be useful to the world.

Detailed Instructions For Collecting Information:
Students may also create digital pictures, include digital photos, PowerPoints, videos, Web sites, or other forms of media.

Please note that we are not interested in information copied from the Internet. We are looking for stories, reviews, and impressions created by the students. Students are welcome and encouraged to include photographs.

Ideal Number Of Submissions From Each School: As many as you wish to create

Preferred Length Of Articles: Multiple paragraphs or at least one page

Deadline For Receiving Information (Circle deadline is April 20, 2012)
